BlocksMC: the cracked network with a new hub and a new Practice mode

BlocksMC is the cracked network that a lot of players outside the English-speaking world learned Minecraft on. Its 2020 trailer carries an Arabic subtitle, its community skews toward the Middle East and North Africa, and the MOTD our pinger caught, "NEW GAME: Practice PvP," shows a server still adding modes six years later. Hundreds of players are on it whenever we look.

What it runs

In August 2024 the network rebuilt its lobby and released a trailer for it, which tells you something about priorities: for a cracked server, the hub is the storefront, and BlocksMC keeps it polished. The client range is the other tell. Cracked networks live on players with old computers and old launchers, so 1.7 and 1.8 support is a feature, not nostalgia.

Cracked, explained briefly

A cracked server doesn't check your account with Mojang, so anyone with a launcher can join. You register a password on the server instead, and the network's anti-cheat has to work harder because banned players can come back under new names.
