Bedwars is a team minigame: each team has a bed on its own island. While your bed stands you respawn when you die; once it's broken, the next death knocks you out. Collect resources from your generator, buy gear and blocks, bridge over, and break the other beds.
Rounds take 10 to 20 minutes, so it's easy to fit in a game. Servers offer solo, duo, and 3v3v3v3 or 4v4v4v4 queues; big networks have ranked modes too.
